Hi, I’m Blue, and I’m a Kangaroo. My friends and I take great care of little kids. I like to jump and play, and share the world with kids who are under six years old. We’ve even built a special warm and safe place for children as young as 8 weeks. At Blue Kangaroo our goal is to provide a nurturing, secure environment filled with warmth and encouragement where your child can learn and develop a positive self-image.

Classroom Information

We are dedicated to nurturing young minds through engaging, hands-on experiences and collaborative play. Our belief in the power of active learning guides our curriculum design, ensuring alignment with the Nevada Pre-K Standards while prioritizing a play-based environment that encourages meaningful interactions among both children and educators. Our curriculum, the Learning Beyond (LB) Curriculum from Learning Beyond Paper, Inc., embodies our commitment to hands-on learning and cooperative play.

Grounded in social-constructivist principles, this curriculum fosters learning through peer-based activities and intentional engagements with our dedicated teachers. Through real-time support, it empowers our educators to offer differentiated instruction, emphasizing social-emotional development alongside a robust STEAM (Science, Technology, Engineering, Art, and Math) focus.

Additionally, to enhance transparency and foster parent involvement, detailed outlines of our weekly curriculum plans will be sent directly to parents via email. This proactive communication enables families to actively engage with their child's learning journey and offers opportunities for continued enrichment at home.
